Below are a number of frequently asked questions and answers.
Q: ARE THERE ANY OTHER IERA SPEAKERS BESIDES THOSE MENTIONED ON THE WEBSITE?
Yes, we have other trained speakers that we would recommend if our Senior Speakers are unavailable.
Q: DO IERA SPEAKERS DELIVER LECTURES OUTSIDE THE UNITED KINGDOM?
Yes, iERA Speakers regularly attend events and conferences outside the UK.
Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET AN ANSWER AFTER REQUESTING AN IERA SPEAKER?
We will respond to your request as soon as possible. However, the time taken to confirm the speaker may depend on availability. International requests may take longer.
Q: HOW MUCH NOTICE NEEDS TO BE GIVEN WHEN REQUESTING IERA SPEAKERS?
It is advisable that you fill in a request at least 4-6 weeks before the scheduled event so that there is more of a chance the requested speaker is available for your request and the process runs smoothly.
Q: WHY DOES IERA ONLY FOCUS ON DAWAH TOPICS?
iERA’s primary focus is non-Muslim Dawah and to convey the true message of Islam to the non-Muslims masses. As most of iERA’s Speakers are paid resources, it is imperative that they put their time and effort into non-Muslim Dawah. Also, when not lecturing, iERA Speakers are involved in non-Muslim Dawah projects or research and if they were to spend their time on non Dawah related areas this may provide an opportunity cost for the iERA work they are engaged in.
Q: DO IERA SPEAKERS ATTEND ALL EVENTS?
iERA Speakers focus on delivering lectures and speeches at non-Muslim Dawah focused events or lectures that would aid Muslims in giving Dawah to non-Muslims. Therefore, requests that are not related to Dawah may not always be filled.
Q: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BOOK AN IERA SPEAKER?
This depends on the type of event and the speaker being requested. In some cases we provide a speaker without charge; in this regard, only travel and associated costs need to be covered by the event organisers.
